THE LAMBITZ'S: Big Changes

Well we're late again, though I suppose it's become expected of us by now. I just can't seem to find the time to post. It's been yet another busy week, but an exciting one. In terms of our little one, we are at 22 weeks (though we haven't taken the 22 week picture yet- maybe tonight) and the baby has been moving a ton! We are loving feeling the movements and watching the baby push against my stomach. In other news, the basement is looking amazing!! It's painted and the moldings are up! Well all the moldings except for inside the closets and the bathroom. We're waiting for the doors to be put in the closets (which is supposed to happen this week) before we do those moldings and we can't do the moldings in the bathroom until the flooring is done (which we are planning on installing next Sunday along with the vanity and toilet). So here's our list of what's left to do: installing the two closet doors and moldings, installing the bathroom stuff (floor, vanity, toilet, shower doors, and moldings), hanging the surround sound speakers, and installing the carpet (we are hiring this done). So as we see it, we're in the home stretch. The biggest thing left really is the carpeting (which is also the last thing that can be done). It's been a ton of work (I speak for everyone else) and it's all very time consuming, but we think that we are making wonderful progress. Ross is really enjoying working on it too! We are very pleased and proud of the way that it is turning out, especially because we have only hired one thing done, which was the drywall, and in the end there will be only two things. We think that's pretty great!!
